Most Pre-purchase Inspections Include 'Sea-Trialing" of the Vessel

Many inspections include a trial run of the vessel. Equipment is evaluated under dynamic conditions whenever possible.

A recent trend from insurance companies who request surveys for insurance renewals is to include "underway" inspections of engines and auxiliary equipment. Regardless of the type of equipment. Regardless of the type of vessel, most pre-purchase inspections include some form of water testing/dynamic inspection. Unless otherwise stated, the fee for the inspection includes water testing of the vessel.

Nearly all vessels have nuances that differentiate them from other vessels, even "identical" sister ships. For further inspection details concerning this portion of the inspection, contact Mr. Kelsey directly for exact details and limitations concerning your vessels details.
